Custom Capabilities required on custom post type

Capabilities on custom post type definition currently set to 'post'.

This means that access through user roles and capabilities cannot be controlled independently of posts.

Need custom capabilities and map_cap set-up.

Am working on solution in my fork as I need this for project am working on.
