Positioning of menubar in macos

MacOS treats menubar differently and the menubar is disconnected from the application window:

I found out we can ignore this native behavior and have it in the application window itself:

yes, sounds good. this looks a bit like a unity desktop scheme. Does the change have impact on other OS - Desktops?
