Trakt.tv issue with Qnap/LG TV

Hi,

I use DLNA to watch files from my NAS on my LG TV.

Recently the trakt service is not completing the watch on the website. I have raised it with Trakt but they say all is correct on their side.

When a video starts it shows on trakt as being watched, goes to twitter.

This seems to of been an issue for about a week now but will work intermittently. Trakt advised the below:

There are 2 different API calls that apps use - one when you start watching it and one when you end. The twitter message is likely sent out when you start watching, so I’m thinking the end/stop is what isn’t working and thus not committing to your watched history.

Im running serviio 1.9 on a Qnap TS-421

Can you send a detailed log of when the file is finished playing?

How would i retrieve the log on this?

I cannot see anything within the Serviio application on the NAS to show this.

Hi,

you need to edit log4j.xml file and restart the service /NAS.

The file to edit (end the log) are in the installation directory on the NAS, something like /share/MDO_DATA/.qpkg/serviio

You have to SSH to the box.
