some links doesn't work with ffmpeg

actually i have some links (live stream) works perfectly in my receiver device, but when i want to download it with ffmpeg it doesn't work. and with vlc it works with audio only no video, i think it's protected because it works only for receiver device. i think it need some codecs or headers or any thing like this! so if anyone able to solve this problem just pm me to get all info about links.

you need to provide details of: - the URL - ffmpeg -i output - what exactly doesn't work

When you talk about receiver device, what do you mean? Is Serviio involved here at all or are you just trying to fetch some streams via fmpeg manually?
