Image viewer loses scrolling position

When I scroll down a folder with some pictures and I click on a picture it jumps back to top in the background.
The selected picture is shown correctly and fast, but as soon as I exit the picture player I have to scroll down again.
Which is pretty annoying while scrolling and looking at some selected pictures.
