Playlist numbering

Issue #1135 new
Former user created an issue

My Samsung TV always displays (a folder) with the entries in alphabetical order. This means that when I create a playlist it ignores the order of the entries and simply displays them in order of title.

While I can (and will) take this up with Samsung, another solution would be for entries in a playlist to be displayed preceded by their number index so that even my limited equipment would be forced to display them in the order wanted.

An option to enforce the numerical index globallyvisible in playlists would be enough (almost all my TVs are Samsung and so all have the same problem).
