Unassigned user should have no rights to shares

The current default setting "Unassigned" has all rights. The default for new devices should be no rights or only rights assighned to the default "Unssigned" user

It’s there so that users who don’t want to bother with setting up users can still easily use the software.

The setting on the device screen basically means - I’m acting as this user.

You could perhaps limit the access for new devices by unchecking the “Enable access for new devices” box on the Status screen. And then manually enable devices when you set them up with a user.
