It would be great if you could add the ability to read iso files. I ripped all my dvds into iso-files and therefore the support of iso files would be a great feature for me, and maybe also for others.

Thanks for the attention and thanks for this great software. (I tested a lot but your software is the best choice for me)

I am currently looking high-and-low for a media server that will enable me to use ISO's. What is the timeline for this feature to be added to Serviio ?

I need this support as well. not being able to play ISO is a deal breaker to me as well. All my movie backups are ISO and my other devices can play ISO (WDTV). I would like to use serviio as DLNA for my samsung TV and blu-ray players around the house as well.

ISO support would make Serviio fantastic. I too have my movies ripped to .ISO images and not being able to play them back via Serviio is a real shame.

Any plans to add ISO-support in the near future? I am just starting with the whole UPNP/DLNA thing and looking for the best server software - as my video collection consists mostly of ISOs that would be a prerequisite...

I am also hoping for ISO support badly. Have a growing collection of original DVD's that are saved as ISO files on my hard drive. Would love to stream them to my TV through Serviio. When is it coming?

Bleh, submitted over a year ago and still not supported? Guess I'll have to keep looking. PS3 Media Server does it but have audio sync issues with it, hope to find something that supports this as I too have all my DVDs in ISO format on my storage server...

this is not supported by ffmpeg and Serviio will not bundle another tool just for this
