Serviio Start/ Console Start enhancements

Issue #469 wontfix
Former user created an issue

Serviio starts as a service and the console can be started as a process after serviio starts.

The console System Tray Icon can then be used to stop the serviio service an/or just terminate the console process.

There is however no similar capability to restart the serviio service or rerun the console process.

While the Start Menu does contain items to do this, it is confusing and not convenient, which has resulted in the creation of batch files for placement on the desktop to initiates these restarts either as a service or process.

This proposal suggests that the System Tray Icon be created and managed by the serviio service and that it be expanded to add a "Start Serviio" selection that will restart the Serviio service, and similarly the "Open Serviio Console" action be expanded to start the Console Process if it is not currently loaded. It would also be appropriate to restart the Serviio service if it is stopped when "Open Serviio Console" is clicked and detect that successful service start before reloadin the Console process.

This would put all the Serviio controlling functions in one place and facilitate the use of Serviio especially by novice users.

I won't be doing this. When starting service there is no UI to start the system tray so it has to be linked to a UI (console) program.

Please consult features like this first in the feature requests forum, otherwise this repository becomes unmanagable and full of invalid requests.

I was not suggesting that the start service create the system tray icon. I was thinking of a simple app started from the startup folder at windows boot (like the console is) that would create the icon and provide the proposed start-stop functions for both the server and the console. It would always be available as is the server service. This would also eliminate the current requirement to start the console before you can stop the server. Please reconsider.
