AppleHTTP stream input support

Issue #478 resolved

cdunford created an issue 2011-12-06

FFmpeg currently supports AppleHTTP as transport/container format, but serviio does not. It would be fantastic to have that support. Attached are some ffmpeg -i of these types of streams.

NHL game center requires a paid account but I can probably find some sample streams and whip them into a plugin if that will help

Really? Im able to play the streams. How did you solve providing the credentials in the plugin?

Anyway, a dummy plugin with a couple of hardcoded urls would be handy.

Great news that this is resolved. Was hoping to provide example plugin this weekend but I am assuming that is not required now. Will we see this in beta 4?
