Panasonic Viera Aspect Ratio - Profile Problem

Problem with Panasonic 2011 and 2012 profiles. Aspect ratio incorrect. Image is being streched vertically to fill screen, ignoring video source aspect e.g. 2.35:1. Identified on 1080p mkv video files so far.

Work-around is to set the Generic Profile. Tested and works.

Looks like your TV can play DTS audio in MKV. You can disable transcoding it (and thus experiencing this effect) by removing this line from the profile:

<Matches container="matroska" vCodec="h264" aCodec="dca" />

Worked for one particular mkv, but not the others. Will revert to generic profile. I'm not technical enough to understand what/how my TV and Serviio uses transcoding and why.
