Access to the plugin folder prevent HDD and system hibernation on Synology DS

Issue #619 resolved
Former user created an issue

The Synology DS doesn't go in hibernation due to the serviio server accesses in periodic intervals to the plugin folder. It follows that I turn off the server if it not in use so the Synology DS can go in hibernation.

It was very nice if the access to the plugin folder switchable by adding an ON/OFF button in the server configuration and/or web console or by an additional command line argument.

Thanks in advance, that would be really great and sorry for my bad english I hope you understand me :).

Same problem here. I've been spending some time debugging hibernation issues on my DS, ultimately discovering that Serviio is the only package which seems to keep it from ever spinning down. Would love a fix, as needing to login to the Diskstation admin to activate/deactivate Serviio each time seems a shame - as does spinning the disks 24/7/365 just to allow for watching a movie every now and then :/

I've got the same issue. Running Serviio on my Synology DS213... the disks wont go in standby, because of this plugin-check.
