Using dot convention in subtitle language support

I've updated to version 1.2 a few days ago and I like the major improvement in subtitle support which now makes it possible to specify a language in the filename. On your support page it stated the following filenames are supported: my_movie_en.srt, my_movie-de.sub, my_movie(fra).srt

Unfortunately all my subtitles are downloaded automatically using the a dot convention instead of the dash/underscore. Example: name.of.movie.en.srt or name.of.movie.nl.srt

Any chance Serviio can also support subtitle language using dots?
