mediabrowser feed refresh detection

Mediabrowser does not detect when a feed has been refreshed, and allows the displayed previous feed playlist to continue to be used, hence any changes to the playlist result in the wrong feed being played. For example if the refresh deletes the previous item #2, clicking the previous item #4 will result in the previous item #5 being played. Details are in the PM I sent you.

Is this the cause of #761 ?

I raised 761 to provide a button to refresh the playlist which would avoid the above problem, but it would not fix it. Only you can detect if the requested id is different from that being returned and issue an error message which would then cause the user to manually refresh the playlist with the button, so it is a 2 part fix/solution.
