Hi, did the Jre trick, Did not help. No graphics driver card update available. This worked with v 1.4.1.

so, 1.4.1.2 and Java 7u72 works fine. But I would like to use 1.5.

Looks like a bug in Java or some incompatibility with your environment. I'll try to reproduce it on my Win 8.1.

Cannot reproduce on Win 8.1. Looks like environment issue with Java 8. Hopefully a future Java 8 release will fix this.

you are correct. now i'm running console from a separate pc remotely. it is also win 8.1 with the same java version. it works fine.

what if you download the latest JRE 8 (_25), install it and then copy the jre folder over the jre folder in Serviio installation folder?
Also try to upgrade your graphics card driver.
