Electron change background feature not available on other browsers

Issue #906 invalid
DenyAll created an issue

In the Electron version of the 1.6 console I noticed that when you double click under the ^ symbol on the bottom of any page (opposite the copyright notice) it changes the background colour of the header, and every second stripe.

This feature(?) isn't available when accessing via a browser (IE11 or Chrome under Win 7, Safari on iPad). Not sure if this was a feature that doesn't translate to other browsers (ie. a bug), or is a quirk of the Electron browser that could be a feature on other browsers if implemented.

It would be beneficial if this could be extended to other browsers if possible and also set the text colour to say white, to provide a high contrast view.

Trivial and low priority imo.

It shouldn't happen at all. The arrow is supposed to take you to the top of the page. Apart from that there is no other link around that.

    So a bug I think.

I actually cannot reproduce this (ie clicking around the ^ icon doesn't do anything). Which OS?

Win7 32 bit. The arrow itself does take you to the top of the page - there seems to be a hidden control/hotspot just under the arrow. Sorry - you need to double click under the arrow. Note the small square under the arrow in the screenshot below.

I'm not sure if Electron adds something there, but it's basically just doing a Select All (the double click). The colors don't actually change, it's just the selection color.

I'm closing this as it's not really a bug but more a common web behaviour.
