It would be nice to have a message pop up if someone presses Update interpolation when interpolation is not turned on. Just a brief instruction for how to turn it on.

Hi Beth, At the moment this is not trivial as having 'no interpolation' set is used to switch the interpolation off. If we change the mechanism i can add a popup message. Ben

Go ahead and close this issue, if you like. Now that the Toolbox is more full, people are less likely to push the button.
