Start marker tracking by creating a new Trial and loading images or movies into the Trial.

• select Marker tracking from workspace menu
• enter a new trial name

There are two ways to load image series or movies:

• Browse to select a folder of image files or a movie (for each camera)
• OR, Load XMA Portal file. This is an .xmatrial file downloaded from a data trial within XMA Portal. It contains the image files plus metadata, such as frame rate. If frame rate was entered in XMA Portal and is the same for all cameras, then XMA Lab will read this and enter the frame rate automatically for the trial. See Integration with XMA Portal chapter of this User Manual. Use of .jpg image series is recommended for fastest tracking.
