Undistortion of Standard (light) Cameras

XMALab also supports model based undistortion for standard light cameras. XMALab uses a standard camera distortion model which is part of the camera calibration. In order to enable the option you first have to go to the Settings/Preferences Dialog and enable in the calibration page the 'show advanced settings' option.

Once you enabled the option a small checkbox appears in the calibration toolbox.

If you click that checkbox, the camera undistortion model is enabled and if you run the calibration again, the model will be updated. After the calibration also make sure to rerun the optimization and check if the undistortion looks correct by changing the image to undistorted in the calibration toolbox.
