The goal refers to the T/F Alpha that launch from a container when you attack the container. Did they ever launch?

Negative, I've try to complete the mission, every ship, container and transporter are destroyed but T/F Alpha never been launched.

I've found the issue. If the containers get destroyed quickly, like say from torpedoes, T/F Alpha never launches. What should happen is that if a ship's mothership is destroyed before the ship arrives, that ship should be considered destroyed like how it is in the original.

I just want to be specific on something:

If the ship has a mothership set but the ship is set to hyper in and the mothership gets destroyed, then the ship is not considered destroyed.

When a ship X lands on its mothership and that mothership is destroyed: Does ship X count as destroyed as well?

    (IIRC, it isn't)

IMO, if the objective is : "destroy the ship", AND if it's a primary objective, if the ship lands on the mothership, it should be destroyed with this mothership

if the objective is : "destroy the ship BEFORE land", OR if it's a secondary / secret objective, it shouldn't

In the original X-wing, the ship isn't considered destroyed when it "Enters Hanger" and the mothership is destroyed later. It will still be considered a failed objective.

In XvT it is considered destroyed in that scenario.

As much as I would like to follow the route of XvT, we have to maintain the flow of missions of the original as much as possible. Ships should not be considered destroyed if they entered hanger and their mothership is destroyed shortly after.
