XWVM is unable to read custom resolutions

Issue #498 resolved
Justagai created an issue

Currently my monitor is set to 1920x1080 200hz but XWVM is unable to display that. It seems to be getting the list that Windows displays for resolutions but it should be able to get custom resolutions as well.

    Is this a new issue?
The list of resolutions and refresh rates is generated by Unity itself based on what the monitor reports to the OS is supported, so we don’t have much control over this. What is a bit odd is that those refresh rates listed in the screenshots seem a little off- i.e. I’d expect them to be 120Hz, 140Hz, etc. Do they match values reported by Windows when you look at the Display settings?

It turns out that my resolution was reset to 1920x1080p 144hz for some reason. I readded the custom resolution through Nvidia Control panel and it was listed in XWVM.

This turned out to be a user-error. I have to thank XWVM for catching this else I wouldn’t have known.

For the record this is what Windows now shows to me:
