Controller vibration not stopping after exiting proving grounds

Using the XBox One gamepad, the controller starts vibrating when exiting a proving ground level by spressing "h" and never stops. It only works by exiting the game. The controller shouldn't start vibrating in the first place, because there is no hyperspace involved.
