Resolution changes back after game closes
- Started out with 1920x1080
- Changed resolution to 4k (I have a 4k TV)
- Too slow, changed back 1920x1080
- Resolution reset to 3840x2160 after restarting the game
- Changed back to 1920x1080
- Restarted game and still 3840x2160
Is there a way to blank the config and start over with the defaults?

reporter I deleted the XWVM.json file and changed the resolution back to 1920x1080 but it still resets to 3840x2160. There should be an option to revert back to the original settings after changing any graphics to see if there would be any slowdowns.

reporter I've managed to get it back to 1920x1080 by switching it to full screen again. Previously it was on Windowed but looked full screen anyway. It seems it will lock the resolution in Windowed based on the actual resolution set in Windows.
I still would like to have a 15 second revert incase something goes wrong with the graphics change.

This is a strange behavior. Changing the resolution should keep it at the changed value after restart, not revert to something else.

reporter Is there anything I can provide to find the source of the issue?

Can you please replicate the problem once more (you select desired resolution, but on restart it reverts to another), then send attach your XWVM.json file?
I wonder if for any reason your selected resolution isn't being saved there.

reporter - attached XWVM.json
It looks like it works properly with full screen, but windowed mode seems to have the issue. I've attached the XWVM.json file.

reporter I've uploaded two pictures on discord since I've been unable to upload them here. I believe the resolution is now properly 1920x1080, but the in-game settings show 3840x2160. I'm assuming this is just a display error?

You could always delete "XWVM.json" in the following directory: C:\Users[yourname]\AppData\Roaming\XWVM
However, I don't know how this affects other settings, including keybinds.
