I have just received a video meant to be motivational from a friend on WhatsApp. It credits www.yourdost.com and National Geographic at then end. It is a very false notion that is sought to be popularised I feel. Says Eagles are long lived, upto 70 years, and in mid life they isolate themselves for 150 days to a hilltop, break off their old beaks, wait for them to regrow, tear off their talons, wait for them to regrow, pluck off their feathers, wait for them to regrow and then fly off to live another 30 years, and this is how you must be an eagle!! People like my friends believe such videos and many others will too, especially that this video is viral and has been around for quite a few years ( I had seen this few years ago, but do not remember where). I thought to check the website mentioned in the video and am here informing you. Attaching the video. Hope this helps.
