Problem Continuing a chat

I was in conversation with Ms.Gayathri. My PC got switched off due to power failure and when i logged in back, I couldn't continue the chat from where i left. I know that this is not a bug. But if you could find a solution for this., It will be great. Also please make a provision for the counselor to know if the other person get disconnected from the chat and vice versa.
