Issue #2 resolved

Not working with localized URL

Anonymous created an issue

The extension does not activate on international URL. Google will default me to http://www.google.com.sg/reader/view/?tab=my (note the .sg extension in hostname) for which pressing v open the tab in the foreground (as per default). If I edit the URL to remove the .sg, the extension is enabled: pressing v will open the tab in the background.

Thank you for this extension! This fixes my biggest frustration with Google Reader.

Sorry about this. Unfortunately Safari extensions don't seem to allow for arbitrary whitelist wildcards (i.e., while I can say "*.google.com", I can't say "*.google.*", and I'm hesitant to allow it on any domain (or maintain a list of all of Google's international domains). I'll keep this in mind in case the situation changes.

I had a flash of inspiration and fixed this; it's in the new 1.2 release. Note that I had to change the bundle identifier between 1.1 and 1.2, so Safari will think they are different extensions rather than installing 1.2 over 1.1. You'll need to uninstall 1.1 manually in Preferences -> Extensions to avoid any potential strange interaction.
