What you can see here is a very simple project that was used to provide a Twitter-Wall for the Barcamp Klagenfurt 2009. Since someone insisted on having a combined Twitter and Flickr interface, something like that had to be custom-made ;-)

In order to use it, first take a look at the bcklutracker/settings.py which holds two provider-dummy-configuration for Flickr and Twitter. Once you've configured the settings (by means of modifying the bcklutracker/local_settings.py), simply run buildout && ./bin/django syncdb. This will fill the specified CouchDB and Django's own database.

For actually updating the database, use the trackerdaemon command for Django.
