reporter Yes, I did the exact same steps and still returns 401. Check attached screenshot. Thank you!
-
reporter Also, I've put Fiddler to listen the request that is being made while Connect button is clicked and there is no request made by this app. Is there something that I miss?
-
@vladzeciu Looks like your URL is incorrect, you just need to put https://smallfootprint.atlassian.net
Also notice that this version currently doesn't support SSO
-
reporter I've tried with both https://smallfootprint.atlassian.net and https://smallfootprint.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa and I get the same message I also tried with username: vzeciu and vzeciu@smallfootprint.com and the same.

@vladzeciu Looks like its failing in authenticating against JIRA. Importer uses basic auth to login into JIRA. Can you check if you can login using curl.
-
Goof morning. I also verify this same error in auth. For me it's the same...i fill URL and then i cannot connect. The auth against JIRA is failing. I am using the server version of the add on.Waiting for feedback.

I am running into the same 401 error messages as the other users above.
Do I need certain permission(s) in JIRA in order to import?
Thank you for any assistance.
Brian
UPDATE
I read this link (below) and it helped to get around the 401 issues
based on the article below I did three things to move forward:
1) made sure I was using HTTPS:// and not HTTP://
2) added /rest to the end of the URL
3) For the User Name, use the user name that is in your profile, not the email address that you use to log into JIRA
4) You will need to be an JIRA admin to import test steps into test cases.
Hope this helps!

Hello @vladzeciu, @diogogmaio
I am Gokul from Zephyr Support.
The 401 error generally represents incorrect login credentials. Based on the screenshot I see that the username you entered is an Email id, please make sure to give your username.
You can find it through JIRA Admin -> User Management and select the user.
@BrianRoss: Thanks for the info!
Regards, Zephyr Support
