Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I get it?

Greyhound Lua is primarily hosted on BitBucket. Every release comes with source archives, along with pre-built .out files.

Releases are sporadic and labeled by date (to avoid the use of confusing version numbers).

Can I use it?

Greyhound Lua is licensed under the liberal MIT License.

In short, you can do just about anything with Greyhound Lua (including modifying, redistributing, or selling it) without having to do anything special, as long as you preserve the copyright notice.

The official branch of Greyhound Lua will always remain free of charge under the MIT license.

Who's involved?

Greyhound Lua is maintained by Ross Light, a mentor for Team 973.

Team 973 started using Lua during the 2010 off-season and used it during the 2011 season when they won the St. Louis Championships.
