There is some code for SDL_gfx in the broken, unfinished, Software render, the code is disabled, so SDL_gfx is unneeded. See the HAVE_SDL_GFX ifdef in rend_sdl.cpp. There is a workspace and projects for Code::Blocks. The project only have compiler setting for MinGW.
