From the blurb, http://sqlrelay.sourceforge.net, SQL Relay is a persistent database connection pooling, proxying and load balancing system for Unix and Linux.

I would like support for this as we would like to use the routing and load-balancing support in SQL Relay for Alchemy applications.

theyve got a DBAPI so its more or less a drop in in 0.6 similar to the pyodbc or zxjdbc mixins

six years and nobody's ever looked for this feature. At this point dialects can be third-party and I'm also adding hooks for dialects that host other dialects (e.g. haalchemy).
