the functionality is in diff:@96650157083f9c691a7a8a737724159cd6a1d668:51417b942fc7408814b1567570f381fc942e9ccb. need some more docs in the ORM to encourage users over to the new functionality, which should remove the need for almost all usages of comparator_factory with ColumnProperty.

The system has been further reworked so that all operators go through the TypeEngine.Comparator and subclasses; see diff:@a180239d8eda8c20ea39f4f5190abf51deba8b05:f327eaea478670198fbaa5b16047be73e9dd6aba for that work. Plenty of tests at this point as well.
