Several Assassin's Creed special edition listings are missing their Steam links

However, if we go to the Steam store page for the standard edition, we can see that the game has special editions.

E.g. let’s use Assassin’s Creed Origins as an example - on Steam, it also lists the Deluxe and Gold editions. If we mouse over the “Add to Cart” button, it reveals the Steam packageID for those editions.

We can get to the store pages for those editions by using the “sub/{$packageID}” scheme, ie. https://store.steampowered.com/sub/215274 leads to “Assassin's Creed Origins - Deluxe Edition” and https://store.steampowered.com/sub/215277 leads to “Assassin's Creed Origins - Gold Edition”

So we can put these links under the appropriate listings on CheapShark:

P.S. “Assassin’s Creed Origins” (result 1) and “Assassin’s Creed Origins Standard Edition“ (result 8) are the same thing. For AC games, I feel like merging them under the latter name might be more appropriate since Ubisoft puts out so many dang versions lol.

P.P.S. All of the above points also apply to other AC games with multiple editions, such as:

  • “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey”
  • “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”
  • “Assassin’s Creed Black Flag”
  • “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate”
  • “Assassin’s Creed Revelations”
  • “Assassin’s Creed Rogue”
