every time I bring in a genesis 8 I gotta delete the volume that's on the body
This is using the latest development version what's the best way to approach this… can this be made to look nice in EVEE am I doing something wrong where this appears because it makes a big cloud around the character thanks in advance for any help

reporter Note I found your article on it and I'm reading it now but I just want to note that I do viewport render animation in my workflow and that's why I need to know this
-
reporter From EV render mode of course with overlays off so it matches an EV render
-
reporter OK here's where I'm at if I put it on extended principle that I could bring the character in but the eyes are white and
because I'm making this as part of a operator is there any way whatever answer you guys give to me so I could bring in the character without that cloud around it and the eyes looking right in Evie can you give me a small script where I could set that

You can use “sss skin“ in the global settings. Other than that there’s a bug already reported

reporter OK thank you very much for letting me know that is there any way you could provide a code snippet where I could set that or if not possibly add the ability to set global preferences in the API
-
reporter The thing is what do I do about the white eyes … when I import like this oh oh
-
reporter Sorry about that at the end of voice typing error 🤣
-
reporter Sorry about that I'm learning programming so I figured out the white eye thing I had to have it on cycles BDSF with that subsurface skin box checked …. But a code snippet is still on the table of how to check that in code
-
reporter OK and never mind you could close this so I figured out you guys are pretty smart you created a load settings operator so I just saved a settings file and I'm gonna bundle it with my add-on and then I could just make for any operator that uses your API a separate settings file and very easily loads that at the beginning of the operator

PS thank you so much for splitting that huge panel in the latest development version and figuring out how to render while still being able to use the interface
