PS thank you so much for splitting that huge panel in the latest development version and figuring out how to render while still being able to use the interface

Note I found your article on it and I'm reading it now but I just want to note that I do viewport render animation in my workflow and that's why I need to know this

From EV render mode of course with overlays off so it matches an EV render

OK here's where I'm at if I put it on extended principle that I could bring the character in but the eyes are white and

because I'm making this as part of a operator is there any way whatever answer you guys give to me so I could bring in the character without that cloud around it and the eyes looking right in Evie can you give me a small script where I could set that

OK thank you very much for letting me know that is there any way you could provide a code snippet where I could set that or if not possibly add the ability to set global preferences in the API

The thing is what do I do about the white eyes … when I import like this oh oh

Sorry about that I'm learning programming so I figured out the white eye thing I had to have it on cycles BDSF with that subsurface skin box checked …. But a code snippet is still on the table of how to check that in code

OK and never mind you could close this so I figured out you guys are pretty smart you created a load settings operator so I just saved a settings file and I'm gonna bundle it with my add-on and then I could just make for any operator that uses your API a separate settings file and very easily loads that at the beginning of the operator
