1.5.1 mhx works fine while 1.6.0 doesn't
With all these requests around about mhx tweaking and snapping, from up to #455#489, I was just curious to compare with 1.5.1 and wonder what it works fine. That is, the forearm twist is correctly driven by the ik hand, and the fk snap doesn’t get any “break” of the geometry, it aligns perfectly. The pole targets are not bad either if you keep them close to the feet, this way ik flipping seems to don’t happen.
I just thought it may help to understand what’s wrong in 1.6.0 and may be take back some control.

repo owner The hand ik and fk bones twist the forearms again. I copied the relevant 1.5.1 code to master and it works, even if I don’t understand why anymore.

reporter The ik hand doesn’t take into account the fk limits so when snapping there may be some difference. But that happens in 1.5.1 too. It’s scary to lose control of the mhx rig since it’s very good and the only one 100% working for daz poses. Personally I’d suggest to take a step back to 1.5.1 and “reimplement” from there only the real necessary improvements.
But commit 405d4cf works fine here so marking as resolved.
