Livelink facials FPS can't be changed, Livelinks and FaceCap no eyebrow movements.

Issue #702 resolved
bouich jules created an issue

Hello,

i noticed that in livelink facials FPS can’t be changed, and there is no eyebrow movement for both FaceCap and Livelinks

https://streamable.com/dng0o8 this how it looks like in 24 fps, i must change the scene to 60 fps to make it works. ( there a fps for facecap)

also there is no eyebrow movements.for both, and also no smooth head/neck movement.

EDIT: Face Mojo and not Pose Recorder, Face Mojo do the best job but is not supported by the plugin.

Thanks!.

Also i really dont see the utility of Facecap i doubt someone will use it, it cost 50$ for the full version and give less good job than Face Mojo or livelinks.

Face Mojo is amazing, if you also can add it to the plugin instead of Facecap 🙂

Facecap poses are labelled by time, which is converted to frame number with the fps value. Livelink poses are labelled by frame number (or SMTPE timecode, which is essentially the same) from the start, so there is nothing to convert. Perhaps you can change the recording frame rate in your Iphone. Or you can scale the action afterwards.

Face Mojo sounds interesting, but I need some sample files to look at. Do you know where I can find some?

Yes, I eventually noticed that #704 contains a Face Mojo file. It can be imported with Import Action now.

As for the eyebrows, it is a difference if the morph is a pose of the face rig or a shapekey. Most older morphs are face rig poses, which automatically carry over to the eyebrow mesh once rigs have been merged. However, Face Mojo uses FACS morphs, which are shapekeys that are only loaded on the main character mesh. In this case you need to transfer shapekeys to the eyebrows, cf. https://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/p/morphs-section-version-16.html.

    EDIT: Thank you all Good.

I will leave this open if you need more information about the implementation of Face Mojo or if you need more data.

if not feel free to immediately close it.
