Pymol vector field representation with ensemble NMA

I am performing atomistic ensemble NMA and would like to compare the modes in different structures using the Pymol vector field representation (as done with the pymol.modes() function). However, this only seems to be available for nma objects. Therefore, I would like to ask:

1. Is there a workaround to do so, or another function specific for eNMAs I may have missed?
2. If not, would it be acceptable to do NMA separately for different structures for visualization purposes? How different could I expect the results to be from eNMA?
