Time between exposures

Issue #1115 resolved
Etienne Richard created an issue

I am asking the same question as on 2021/06/19. how to configure in a series of exposure a delay between each exposure. For example I want to shoot a comet in L with 40 exposures of 30s offset between them by 3 minutes. I use NINA 2.0 RC 3. And in the various parameters available (number of images, exposure time, filter, binning, dithering, .) we do not find the delay.

I take this opportunity to send you all my compliments. Nina is extra and meets my needs well. I will also send you a gift. I think we could improve:
-the choice of the directory in which we make the backup (we should be able to do it directly in the sequence).
-the visualization of the images (we should be able to adjust the stretch directly and visualize the different images during the progress of the sequence).
-We could also at the end of the sequence have an analysis of the images taken. Nina displays the FWHM on the stars in the last image. We should be able to retrieve the values for each image and then have a table (like CCD inspector or MaxSelector).
But congratulations again

(Not a developer here but curious…)

In the advanced sequencer there is a wait-for-timespan which can be placed in a loop with the exposure, so you can time the exposures anyway you want. Does that not meet your need?

Linwood has the correct answer. Create a loop with 40 iterations (your example) of Take Exposure and then Wait for Time Span of 30 seconds.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I just tried it and it works fine. Simply introduce two instructions (one for the loop, the other for the delay). I should have thought of that! Thank you.IMG_8591.jpg
