Add an instruction in Advanced sequencer
hello, can you add an instruction in the advanced sequencer to reset the sequence ?

Not sure how this is helpful but it could be done in a plug-in.

reporter Good evening, I am looking to use one thing like that in order to make my observatory 100% automatic for the asteroid confirmation and this is the only option I miss it so that the system is 100% automatic
-
Cyril, you still haven’t given an example of why this would be necessary
-
reporter I will try to simply explain with my low English. When you wish to make several observation night automatically without intervention on your part, it is impossible because at a moment give conditions like the altitude of the sun, the security system or other things will pass the sequence in the end which has the effect of stopping it definitely but the next day if the conditions are favorable it requires to intervene again to start the sequence again while if at the end of sequence we put an instruction to wait for the time 17:00 followed by an instruction for reset sequence would allow to rotate a nine sequence with one's night on the one.
-
reporter If at the end of the sequence we put an instruction to wait for the time of 17:00 followed by an instruction for reset the sequence would allow to turn the nine sequence to the infinity of one night on the other.

I see, so this is about having a never ending sequence that runs night after night. It’s something we’re asked about occasionally. We should think about adding support for this more officially, as opposed to doing it piecemeal through plugins.

Shouldn't a loop (for iterations) cover this scenario?
I'd add a wait for timespan at the end of the sequence just to keep the sequence running till sunrise and move the entire sequence into a sequential instructionset with a loop for iterations.
Setting #n as number of iterations should cover n nights. Am I wrong?

reporter I test with the loop for the iteration but this is not really adapting unfortunately

Can you at least give an example or explain how or why such a thing would be useful?
