Could NINA detect clouds, pause sequence, check for clouds every X minute, when clouds past, then resume sequence?
Thanks

reporter I know it. In my opinion, this point is under-developed.
I would like to suggest a way how to do this:
- NINA could have a setting and capability to measure brightness of skies every frame, just as it measure HFR. Brightness of skies could be measured in values as in SharpCap.
- When 2-4 consecutive frames, brightness of skies drops below value specified by user (for example anything below in 75 in Sharpcap means clouds are above), then all functions, except taking frames, go into pause.
- When brightness of sky rises above user define values in 2-3 consecutive frames, then system resume working: plate solving, then re-centering, then refocusing and resume collecting data.
All these points can be done manually, but someone should guard system whole night to do so. There are people who do that, and guard system in observatory. But then what is point of NINA.
One more thing. I could charge $30-50 for such project as NINA. I mean it. Donation are good, but not good enough.
Thanks
All the best!

For this a safety monitor device needs to be used. This device can be integrated into the advanced sequencer.
