Add eccentricity to the HFR history graph

Issue #225 closed
Linda Thomas-Fowler created an issue

HFR and star count are great metrics but seeing eccentricity would also be useful. It could alert the user to potential mount issues like balance problems or cable snags. While obvious eccentricity problem would be obvious in the image itself, the graph might reveal problems that are less obvious.

This, along with the ability to mark a frame as “bad,” would be fantastic for real-time approval and rejection of frames during an imaging session.

I would love to see this, as eccentricity is a primary way to reject frames and once it starts to degrade, I don’t usually see it improve over a session.

I dont need a way to mark frames as bad since I would rather do that in the day when I can see it more easily

Eccentricity won't be added to the core application. However with 1.11 and plugins it can be added. The "Hocus Focus" plugin author already planned to add Eccentricity and FWHM as additional metrics to the plugin.
