Suggestions on software localization

Dear developer, hello. My friend and I are a group of astrophotography enthusiasts who like NINA very much. This is the best deep space shooting software we have ever seen. After using NINA for a while, we have recorded a series of Chinese tutorials to promote NINA in China. We have now started the translation of the software, and 95% of the Chinese translations have been completed in the 1.9 beta009 version. However, every time a new user uses the installation software, they need to replace the original file with a Chinese patch. Therefore, we want to try and try to build our translation into NINA to provide the native Chinese version. If you support us doing this, please let us know what we need to do. I will upload patches and screenshots later.

I think the process would pretty much be this (assuming there are no character encoding issues):

• Have one of the translators join the Discord channel
• Complete the current translation
• Make a pull request (or send the Locale file) to integrate the current translation into NINA
• Be available on Discord to help any contributors translate new labels into Chinese - I think what is most important is a commitment to supporting the translation, otherwise it will lag behind as new features get added.

Thank you for your work on the translation to Chinese. We surely can add this for the next release (1.10). The nightly builds for that release will start soon.
Also what is your username in discord, so i can add you to the contributors group?

I hope “zh-CH” is the correct .net Language Code for this.
There are a couple of new labels missing which where recently introduced, but let’s discuss those via discord!

Localization is now as simple as ever with a new translation management software. You can now easily contribute the desired language at crowdin.
