Issue #372 resolved
Deepanshu Arora created an issue
  • Issue is reproducible.
  • Noticed in 1.10 nightlies, currently using nightly #20

Description:

A pop occurs with following message when disconnecting Canon DSLR after using flats wizard. If flat wizard is not used, no exception shows up when disconnecting the camera. Can be reproduced on Canon 6D, 6D mark II, 80D, 600D.

The Application ran into an unhandled exception and most likely has to shut down. The error has been logged to "%localappdata%\NINA\Logs". Should the Application try to recover from the error? (Can lead to unexpected behaviour )

[No] [Yes]

Steps to reproduce:

  • Connect a Canon DSLR from Equipments tab
  • Use flats wizard
  • Disconnect DSLR from Equipments tab - pop up shows up.
  • Try connecting to camera again from Equipments tab - it will not connect.
  • Disconnect camera from PC, Close and relaunch NINA, now camera will connect just fine.

Expected Behavior:

Camera should be able to disconnect properly and clear the resource, no matter what functionality was used from disconnecting the camera.
