AV mode to take flats with a DSLR
Issue #439
closed
IT would be very helpful if there was an AV mode for taking flats with a DSLR. The software would calculate the shutter speed by itself. Maybe even allow the camera to work in AV mode instead of complete manual. Check backyard eos as an example.

reporter Yes I have but it didn’t work for me, my camera just locks up. I have to be doing something wrong. I will mess around more with it tonight. It will be cloudy.

If you have specified flat frame shutter speeds that are faster than 1 second, then the camera will need to be switched to Manual mode. This isi the case for Canons and I believe Nikons as well

You are describing what the Flat Wizard in NINA does already. Have you tried it?
