Issue #508 resolved

[x] Are you running the latest version?
[x] Are all prerequisites that are mentioned inside the manual met?

Description

It is not possible to insert a gain value into a sequence step created without camera attached to the computer, when using camera simulator. I haven’t checked if the same behavior occurs with a real camera, rather than the simulator.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create a sequence without your camera connected and save it as xml
  • Connect the camera simulator
  • Load the sequence
  • Insert the gain
  • NINA will crash

Expected behaviour

No crash but accept the input gain and use it as part of the sequence parameters

Actual behaviour

NINA crashes and closes down

    Hi,
i cannot reproduce the problem with the steps you provided. Either they are incomplete or missing information.
Furthermore you did not specify the exact version you’re on. Did you use the latest nightly version of 1.10 or the released 1.9 version?

Hi. The version is the latest nightly.

You have created a sequence without any camera connected. Right ? I had two steps in the sequence. The gain tab was not visible.

    Then I saved as xml.

Then I closed NINA, because I created the sequence yesterday.

Today, after chatting with people I found out that I could use the camera simulator to make the gain tab appear. So I connected the camera simulator.

In the sequence tab I loaded my sequence.

Now the camera gain tab was there.

I entered the number 100 and NINA crashed.

I did it also a few more times with other numbers. Same behavior.
