Insufficient memory when shooting with Canon camera

Issue #572 closed

Dear developer, my device is Canon 600D. When I use the laptop, the 64 bit operating system can work normally. However, when using the win tablet (32-bit), there is a shortage of memory. I have adjusted the virtual memory bit 1024m in the computer settings, but it has no effect. The specific situation is that when the camera is connected, a single 5S shot is normal, but two consecutive shots will show that the memory is not Enough, I attached the error log.My Nina is the latest beta version of RC

    Hi 明耀 崔,,

the x86 app is restricted to a certain amount of memory and there is no way around this. According to the logs you have debayering enabled. Maybe even the unlinked stretch. If you have no possibility to run the x64 client, I recommend to disable these two steps (Options->Imaging), as they are the most memory intensive processes in the application. Without these the memory should be enough to run.

    Regards,
    Stefan

Can I take the second shot after the picture download is completed, because I try to expose a single 120s so that the download can be completed on the way to the next exposure, so that the memory shortage will not be caused by the need to download the next exposure after the completion of the next exposure. In this way, the shooting can be continued, or the task of shooting the next picture after downloading is executed only when shooting bias.

The sequencer is optimized to use a high amount of parallelization. This can't be adjusted for your use case.

Your best bet is to disable the unlinked stretch while running the sequence, other than that you should consider using x64 version of the app.
