Immediate Camera Pause

While Pause and Abort Sequence have their use.

I would like also to be able to pause immediately, that is abort current camera capture and be able to resume WITHOUT launching all the start sequence operations.

Currently, if I abort, I need to fiddle with the sequence start settings, it gets confusing and if I forget, it’s gonna slew, platesolve, autofocus etc, but all I wanted in not wait my 10min capture to finish because I wanted to adjust a camera capture setting.

If In general, when I want to “abort” with same effect as “pause”, it is because I want to start over the current sub, since “pausing” over a longer period of time does not matter.

So, a valid alternative would be to have a button to restart the current sub capture. Although this is the same as “pausing” and “resuming” immediately.

Upcoming Sequencer2 (available as preview in nightly builds) in 1.11 will stay editable the whole time. Therefore pausing is not required anymore and if the sequence was stopped it will resume at the item where it last picked up without going through the start options again.
