QHY 8L problems

Hello, my name is Marcelo, from Spain.

I have N.I.N.A. installed, version 1.10

I can’t have my QHY 8L functioning. I can only see ASCOM drivers but not native drivers. But the ASCOM drivers doesn’t run, I have some warnings. I tried with both 32 and 64 bits with no success.

There are no problems with ASCOM Platform, because the camera does well with APT, for example.

Could you help me?

This is a known issue, and there is a potential fix that you can try and report back on regarding your success.

Quit NINA and download the latest SDK from QHY here and unzip the file.

Place the pkg_win\x64\qhyccd.dll file in C:\Program Files\N.I.N.A…\External\x64\QHYCCD\ folder, overwriting the one that is there.

Start NINA and see if your QHY8 is listed in the camera equipment selection menu.
