Incorrect slew coordinates from Sequence

Issue #781 closed
Javier Villarreal created an issue

I’m having trouble repeating the same framing but night to night due to inaccuracies on the slew coordinates between what is on the sequence and what NINA is actually sending the mount.

The coordinates on the sequence are:

5h 40m 1s

-1d 48m 60s

The log shows it is sending the mount to:

RA: 05:40:11 Dec: -01° 49' 02" Epoch: J2000

I don’t understand why they are different.

Also, in the log it says “Sync Failed silently”, but then the offset calculation is zero:

[Message] Sync failed silently - calculating offset instead to compensate. Original: RA: 05:33:35; Dec: -01° 23' 00"; Epoch: J2000; Solved: RA: 05:33:35; Dec: -01° 23' 00"; Epoch: J2000; Offset: RA: 00:00:00; Dec: -00° 00' 00"; Distance: 0.000351887342295697; Bearing: 88.7914542930367

I’m using a celestron CG5-GT mount with a Nexstar+ control using the latest ASCOM Platform and the latest Celestron driver. Connected via USB.

thanks so much for any pointers or if a solution is coming.
