We don’t tend to set anything in a planetarium app. We only query them for information.

It seems that retrieving the center of the map view is possible with the GETPOS command. However there doesn’t seem to be a way to get the position and rotation of a frame view that was set up by going to the Drawing > Frame field… menu. The GETEXTFRAME command always replies with NF! whenever I run it with a frame field set, so I guess GETEXTFRAME refers to something else, but I cannot find what.

Do you have any info regarding this?
